What to expect from your free consultation:

At our meeting, we will review the clients' assets to determine eligibility using our knowledge of Medicaid laws and regulations. PA SCS will give you a plan on how you will need to move forward to obtain Medicaid eligibility to pay for your loves one's care.

Waiver is a jointly funded federal and state government program that pays for nursing home level of care in the home. It does follow the same clinical and financial rules as if you were applying for medical assistance in the nursing home with two exceptions:

1. It is an income-based program.

2. Waiver does not provide 24-hour care. The Area Agency on Aging (AAA) and Maximus will come out and make a determination on how much care someone receives.
